Anti graffiti coating from potato starch

Description

A known product that can be obtained from potatoes is potato starch. This fine, dried white powder is useful in cooking as a flavor enhancer and thickener.

It is virtually unknown that the group to which potato starch belongs (namely the polysaccharides) in certain combinations forms a synergism so that a clear, virtually insoluble dry coating can be made. This is the basis of the PSS-20 anti vandal coating: Made of water and starch and marketed by Gevelmeesters.
