Insect breeding on horticultural residuals
On October 10, 2019, the mini-symposium 'Horticulture residual flows and insect breeding' was held in Apollo 14 in The Hague. This event was organized by Greenport West-Holland, Biobased Greenport West-Holland, BioBoost and the Municipality of The Hague/ImpactCity. Speakers were Bicky Nguyen (Cricket One), Sander Peltenburg (De Krekerij), Thomas Spranghers (Vives University of Applied Sciences) and Bart Nollen (Sustainable Proteine). Alderman Saskia Bruines of the municipality of The Hague opened the mini-symposium.
